The Soundtrack Of Our Lives @ Heaven

The band's last UK gig will forever be remembered. Atleast by me.
(and if I ever start forgetting, I've got a purple plectrum to remind me.)

London 2012

Is there such a thing as an Olympic hangover? If so, I believe it's what I'm experiencing at the moment. We've had two awesome weeks of constant action. During work and after work. We created new daily routines, and every day was exciting. I watched all sports, and was excited about it. Even the ones I barely knew existed.  Wrestling, BMX, taekwondo. You name it! I think everyone in this town embraced the olympic spirit, and realised that something like this don't come along often. (or they did the opposite and locked themselves in their house and didn't come out for two weeks.)

London was an amazing city to be in, everyone was happy and friendly. Especially all the volunteers that worked at the events (Which made it even clearer how shit London's customer service usually is ) . And the city was calmer that usual, there was actually seats on the tube when going through central. Even the weather has been great!

.. and today, we went back to normal. Back to normal routines. No more screaming in the office when Team GB takes a medal (which, may I add, happened way too often..) . It feels empty, like a friend who was visiting just left.

Except that this friend was pretty expensive for London...

But it was so worth it!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!

We spent yesterday afternoon/Night in Birmingham, Since we heard there was a very loved German christmas market up there, and since it was our last chance to go to an actual christmas market before christmas. And o'boy it was popular, judging on the number of people there atleast. But I could see why, it was very lovely, It had everything a good christmas marked should have, from big german sausages to gingerbreads. And if you wanter a didjeridu, because I can imagine a lot of people go to a german market looking for that, they had that too.

I can really recommend this market, but a hot tip, go on a weekday!

(Their main sponsor was Sandvik. I found that a bit odd.)

Notting Hill.

I don't know if it's the brightly coloured houses, or the markets,
or how I always find hidden treasures around each corner when I
go for walks, but I really like living in this area.
