Moonight Cinema
I love outdoors cinemas. A thing that worked better in Australia, obviously, because of the weather. Over here, you can't really know what's gonna happen. But it doesn't make it less magic. I remember when Josh and I had just met, we went to see "Where wild things are" at the moonlight cinema at centennial park in Sydney. It was dark, there was stars out, and there were bats (or flying foxes as they are over there ) flying over our heads. I don't think I would've liked that movie if I saw it anywhere else , but there, it was brilliant. There definitely is something about watching a movie under the stars wrapped in a blanket with a good picnic... SO, Londoners, here comes your chance this summer: PopUpScreens , lots of good movies coming up , for example Office space, Anchorman, Taken, Donnie Darko etc ...

Gorgeous George.
We've watched a couple of movies lately, one of them was Super.
Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Tyler, Kevin Bacon. So much potential, but such a letdown.
Ellen Page is usually brilliant... but she has never been more annoying than this. Such a weird movie. When I saw that the director of Slither (movie about how a town gets taken over by some form of alien slugs/snails that turn people into zombies) had been involved, I knew that was a step in the wrong direction. And there definitly was some scenes I would not want to see ever again. Actually I probably never want to see any scenes from the movie again.
Apart from that..
The Grey. As usual, Liam Neeson is just the coolest man om earth. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have liked this movie. But it was him, and the movie was alright. It just contained a lot more wolves than I expected. The Descendants. I just love George. I mean who doesn't? I haven't cried like that in a while. Good if you ask me. We need to talk about Kevin. Heavy. Good but heavy. (Apparently the book is recomended) The Sitter. Crappy movie with some funny bits. This was Josh's choice of course. I wanted to leave the cinema straight away. Very uncomfortable, and almost painful to watch. In a meet-the-fockers-kind of way.

Too many cooks spoils the broth
Never before has the meaning of that saying been clearer.
I can not imagine a worse ending to 2011.
I can not imagine a worse ending to 2011.
I will put it next to Valentines Day on the list of movies I wouldn't even poke with a stick.

UK trolls
Speaking about Ronnie wood, he is a bit scary looking isn't he? But at the same time very happy looking. I got the privilege to shake his hand at a movie premiere at Westfield a couple of months ago, and all I could think of when it happened was "God, he looks like a troll". As a Scandinavian, you always compare people to trolls. When I say troll, I have a very specific picture in my mind, because when I was a child I used to love a Swedish movie called Trollsommar (troll-summer). Classic. That's how I believe real trolls look like. Anyone who's seen it have to agree with me that Ronnie would be excellent in that movie..
