The Bundaberg Experience

"Australia" posted this photos from Bundaberg on Facebook the other day.

Aww, I know , cute right? Usually I suffer from massive jealousy when these kinds of photos are posted, and I want to go back. But in this case it's completely false advertising. After living there me and Erika knows the truth about Bundy. You might be looking for baby turtles but this is the closest you'll get:

Gorgeous George.

We've watched a couple of movies lately, one of them was Super.
Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Tyler, Kevin Bacon. So much potential, but such a letdown.
Ellen Page is usually brilliant... but she has never been more annoying than this. Such a weird movie. When I saw that the director of Slither (movie about how a town gets taken over by some form of alien slugs/snails that turn people into zombies) had been involved, I knew that was a step in the wrong direction. And there definitly was some scenes I would not want to see ever again. Actually I probably never want to see any scenes from the movie again.

Apart from that..
The Grey. As usual, Liam Neeson is just the coolest man om earth. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have liked this movie. But it was him, and the movie was alright. It just contained a lot more wolves than I expected. The Descendants. I just love George. I mean who doesn't? I haven't cried like that in a while. Good if you ask me. We need to talk about Kevin. Heavy. Good but heavy. (Apparently the book is recomended) The Sitter. Crappy movie with some funny bits. This was Josh's choice of course. I wanted to leave the cinema straight away. Very uncomfortable, and almost painful to watch. In a meet-the-fockers-kind of way.

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..

I love being back in the pool!

Zooey Deschanel

I rarely read or talk about celebrities. I'm not as into them as Josh is. He is a proper gossip-addict. He won't admit it, but he knows every B-celeb's name and heaps of unnecessary facts about them and who is dating who and divorcing who, what kind of trouble Lindsay Lohan is in this week, and who has had surgery etc. (Plus he's got more shoes than me so I'm starting to wonder who is the woman in this relationship.) He blames hi knowledge on the english press, and it's true, English newspaper contain a lot of news that we could do well without. But he has some kind of rule that he needs to read the whole paper, front to back. While I skip the uninteresting bits, he doesn't. So he is the go-to-girl if you want to know the latest buzz in hollywood. But to my point, Zooey Deschanel, she is different from the others. She is my absolute favourite. Multi talented and drama free (and may I mention she's got the prettiest name in the world). Yeah sure,Your Highness was a real lowpoint.. but apart from that, I'm probably her biggest fan, and New Girl is my guilty pleasure. And who knew Joseph could sing aswell? Isn't this just lovely?

Definitely unnecessary

As a foreigner, sometimes I get unsure how to spell certain words in english, and I have to google them just to make sure I'm right. Today I found that the word "Definitely" has it's own webpage. So many things to create a webpage for, and someone chose this.. www.d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y.com/ .

Fresh French

I've always liked La Redoute. Now I like them even more. Having a nudist wading in the background in kids fashion pictures is definitely a new bold approach from the French company. I like their fresh ideas, well done!
